In Cœur de Tarentaise, let yourself be seduced by the traditional architecture of the habitat made of stone and wood, the old doors and alleys, the vaulted passages and enjoy the pretty squares and parks full of flowers.

Do not miss to discover this unique route in Savoie: 30 murals color the streets of the city.
The itinerary is very accessible, and is a good mean to discover the city in a playful way, children love to go in search of the murals !

What can we say about the richness of our territory, except that it is remarkable!
In Moûtiers, once the historical capital of the Tarentaise, don’t miss to visit :
– Saint-Pierre cathedral,
– the Folk Traditions museum,
– the History and Archaeology museum
– the dairy cooperative.
In the Belleville area, make a stop :
– at Saint-Martin Museum,
– at the local black Bee museum
– in the baroque churches (ND-de-la-Vie, the Church of the Nativity…).
Culinary specialties are not to be outdone and are highly appreciated.
Enjoy fondue, raclette, crozets, diots or farçon, so many good recipes to taste in the city’s restaurants.
Nature has been generous in Coeur de Tarentaise where everything is conducive to wonder: the picturesque landscapes and their changing colors over the seasons, the mountain pastures and their herds, mountain lakes, the alpine and fragrant flora, in short nature at its most beautiful.
Let yourself be tempted by :
– the numerous trails for hiking alone or with a guide in the mountains, in the forest, on the summits, in the mountain pastures or on thematic trails.
– a gourmet break in a mountain refuge
– the mountain and artificial lakes of La Trappe in Hautecour and Les Bruyères in Les Menuires with their leisure bases.
– the spa, aquatic center and thermal swimming pool
Climbing
– the cliff of Mont-Secret (Moûtiers) or the Rocher du Glaisy (Notre-Dame-du-Pré)
– 2 Via ferrata in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Climb up to the mythical passes of the Madeleine, Iseran or Petit Saint-Bernard.
The little last one? The Col de la Loze at 2304 meters of altitude.
Reserved for cyclists (Bikes, VAE), it will eventually link the 3 Valleys by a cycle route “la Via 3 Vallées”. Currently it ensures the link between Courchevel and Meribel and the departure can be made from Moûtiers!
Some itineraries are accessible from Moûtiers in the direction of the surrounding villages and resorts (cycling map).
Many partners (accommodation providers, restaurants, bike rental and repair shop…) have obtained the “Accueil vélo” label. At your disposal, they propose an offer and services adapted to cyclists.
Cœur de Tarentaise is the perfect place to get a lot of sensations on dry land, on water or in the air and to make memorable memories for a lifetime.

In summer:
cycling, white water sports, climbing, via-ferrata, tree climbing, fishing…
You can also participate to themed guided visits (Street-Art, edible and medicinal plants of Savoie, hydroelectricity …).
In winter:
downhill or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Nordic walking, tobogganing, dog sledding…
Then, after a busy day, relax at the spa and enjoy the view of the mountains!
