Christmas in Val Thorens is a unique experience. A touch of enchantment, with a breeze of sweetness as you savour the experience of being together with friends and family.
SUNDAY 22 DECEMBER
- 10am to 5pm: Father Christmas on the move.
Come and meet Father Christmas in the shops of Val Thorens.
- From 5pm: Have your photo taken on Place Caron. Offered by the Val Thorens Merchants Association.
MONDAY 23RD DECEMBER
- 11am to 5pm: Alaskan Games - OOK the Serum Race.
Take part in a giant escape game throughout the resort to find the recipe for the Serum. To do so, you'll have to solve all the mysterious riddles left by the trapper.

- 6.30pm: Winter concert: Travel in Gospel
Travel In Gospel is a professional gospel group featuring singers with mixed voices and musicians with a wide repertoire. From the interpretation of traditional songs to modern gospel, without forgetting a stopover in the heart of African roots, they will take you on an adventure full of exchange and conviviality with the audience. Through song, dance, joy and emotion, Travel In Gospel transports all generations. It's an invitation to journey into the intense, rhythmic world of Gospel singing!

TUESDAY 24 DECEMBER
- From 3pm: Christmas festivities - Meet Father Christmas in his igloo. Santa sets his sleigh down in Val Thorens before setting off on his round of gift-giving. Come and meet him under his Christmas igloo to take a photo! Sweets will be distributed to the best-behaved children. There will also be a Christmas treasure hunt in the ice and a hot chestnut sale.

Don't miss the not-to-be-missed torch-lit descent orchestrated by our ESF and Ski Cool instructors, which will amaze young and old alike. Warm up with our free hot drinks and Pitch.

- From 7pm: La Dame de l'hiver show
"Hermine, a great lady stands there frozen like a statue of ice..." Come and witness her mysterious awakening. Come and witness her mysterious awakening through a creation combining storytelling, music, dance and lighting, enhanced by live performance and digital arts. Hermine opens the Christmas festivities with a gentle, enchanting show.

WEDNESDAY 25 DECEMBER
- 5.15pm to 6.45pm: Draisienne by ESF
Your little skiers aged 3 to 5 can now discover the joys of winter sports in a unique way with our draisienne ski programme in Val Thorens. Supervised by our expert instructors, your children will learn balance, coordination and confidence on the snow, all while having fun in a safe environment.

- 6pm: Children's torchlight descent with Haribo
Just like the grown-ups, children are also entitled to their own torchlit descent! Equipped with an electric torch, children can make the descent in complete safety. Bonus: distribution of HARIBO sweets.

THURSDAY 26 DECEMBER
- 11am: Robot workshop "In the footsteps of the animals
A screen-free workshop where children discover mountain animals by programming the movements of a robot on a play mat. Using directional pieces (move forward, turn left, turn right, etc.), they give instructions to move the robot among the mountain animals.
Location: Chalet Péclet, Place Péclet
Free registration at the Tourist Office before 5pm on Wednesday. Maximum 8 children. Ages 3 to 6. A parent must be present.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
- 4.30pm: Lego robot workshop and making a wooden chalet
During this workshop, children can make their own personalised "Val Thorens" wooden chalet. They then take part in a screen-free workshop where they programme a robot equipped with movement, colour and sound sensors. They personalise the robot with Lego and build giant courses in their wooden village.

Free registration at the Tourist Office before 5pm on Wednesday. Maximum 12 children. Ages 7 to 11. A parent must be present.

FRIDAY 27 DECEMBER
- 4pm: Children's workshop
The Tourist Office is offering a range of fun, hands-on activities for children to discover, decorate and recycle while having fun.
Location: Chalet Péclet, Place Péclet
Free registration at the Tourist Office before 5pm on Thursday. Minimum 4 children and maximum 8. Ages 3 to 10.
A parent must be present.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
