This beautiful walk around the lake allows the discovery of about fifteen artistic works mainly made of natural materials. Take advantage of the benches and picnic tables for a relaxing moment by the water.
Hautecour, a small traditional village clinging to the slopes, overlooks the Tarentaise valley. This magical place judiciously arranged around a small mountain lake allows you to discover artistic works in natural materials, renewed each year.
The setting is quiet and relaxing and the walk forms a nice loop around the lake in its short variant (40 min).
The path is accessible to all (people with reduced mobility, families with pushchairs).
Nearby, the terrace of the "Chalet de la Trappe", with its view over the lake, is the ideal place for a gourmet break.
Nearby, the leisure centre is the ideal spot for children looking to have fun.
On site: tennis, volleyball, basketball, petanque..
Each year, a "creation week" is organised to allow a dozen local and international artists to create new works on a given theme.
Throughout the year, guided tours are offered to groups and school classes by the Lez'arts en Adret association and the Tourist office.
Distance: 600 m
Difficulty: very easy
Another path, "La boucle Liberté", which is longer but not difficult, allows you to discover the entire route with no less than 70 artistic works.
A booklet provides more information on these works (free).
On request at Cœur de Tarentaise Tourisme (Moûtiers), at the Hautecour town hall or at the start of the path, near the town hall (in a small wooden box).
From 01/01 to 31/12.
