Outing “brame du cerf” at the full moon with an accompanying guide in the mountains of the Maison de la Randonnée in Vanoise to know all about deer (lifestyle, habits, characteristics . . . ).
The idea is to leave on full moon evenings in the commune of Notre-Dame-du Pré to discover, in a small group, the roe of the deer with a night vision camera.
The slab is primarily a listening period, and particular care will be taken not to disturb the cervids.
During this crucial period for their reproduction, special precautions must be taken to ensure the tranquillity of the animals and not to disrupt this ceremony.
You will walk at wolf’s pace, as discreetly as possible and discover the life and behaviour of the Deer.
If luck smiles on you, maybe you’ll see them.
- Duration of the outing: about 2h-2h30
- Departure: around 21h, at nightfall, when the moon rises
- Appointment: on the church square at Notre Dame du Pré
- From 8 years
- Provide warm clothes
- A hot drink is offered by your companion
Attention:
Thank you for not wearing perfume or cigarettes. No animals, even on a leash.
Flashlights and flashes will not be allowed (only on full moon to illuminate travel).
Here’s a nice idea.
Dine at the Auberge de la Fruitière in Notre-Dame-du-Pré (reservation recommended) before the start of the hike.
A unique and unforgettable show!
From 23/09 to 10/10, daily between 8 pm and 10.30 pm.
Subject to favorable weather.
