The Freeride World Tour is back in France after an absence of 8 years!
Europe's highest ski resort will host a stage of the 2025 Freeride World Tour, an event symbolising excellence in the world of freeride.
With its privileged location at an altitude of 2,300m, Val Thorens and its emblematic Cime Caron is an exceptional playground for competitors, combining technical challenges with breathtaking panoramas.
This unique French stage will also be the only one accessible by ski lift via the Cime Caron cable car.
Riders will start their descent at an altitude of 3,105 metres and descend to 2,575 metres, a difference in altitude of over 500 metres.
The face will offer steep lines with an average gradient of 32 degrees, making for a fast and technical ride.
With its ridge lines, couloirs and wide-open sections, Val Thorens promises to push athletes to their limits in this latest edition of the Freeride World Tour.
From Monday 27 January to Saturday 1st of February 2025.
