Fresco: Owls

Collages of owls. The idea is to get people thinking about the place of animals in society.

Sophie photographe, also known as Sonac, is a French artist who takes photos of animals and then sticks them, in large format, on city walls. She's been doing this since 2010. Her collages and ephemeral installations can be found on the streets.
"My idea with this approach is to get people thinking about the place of animals in society".
The collagist has exhibited in numerous venues (Parc Floral de Paris in 2013, Cité des Sciences in 2016, Musée de la Poste in Paris in 2017. A fine list of achievements!
Here, she brings owls into Moûtiers. The artist highlights a wildlife that is less and less visible.
