New Year festivities

Come and celebrate the New Year in Val Thorens! There's plenty to do to celebrate.

MONDAY 30TH DECEMBER

- 2pm, 4pm and 6pm: Lok'adabra musical promenade
With LOK'ADABRA à 5, in collaboration with the Grenoble-based company Fuego Loko, the show goes completely crazy and delirious, transcended by fire-eaters, jugglers and acrobats!

TUESDAY 31 DECEMBER

- From 6.30pm: Torchlight descent by the ski instructors
Don't miss the not-to-be-missed torch-lit descent orchestrated by our ESF and Ski Cool instructors, which will amaze young and old alike. Warm up with our free hot drinks and Pitch.

- 9pm - midnight : DJ Set and light show
Join us for a memorable party with DJ Guest Ju One followed by Boris and Moris. A stage specially designed for the occasion! An electrifying atmosphere, light show and stage on the roof of the Board to celebrate the arrival of the new year in style.

Free, limited seating
Access to the roof of the Board is forbidden with an alcoholic drink.
- Midnight: New Year's fireworks
Look up towards Cime Caron to admire the New Year's fireworks!

WEDNESDAY 1ST JANUARY

- 5.15pm to 6.45pm: Draisienne by ESF
Your little skiers aged 3 to 5 can now discover the joys of winter sports in a unique way with our draisienne ski programme in Val Thorens. Supervised by our expert instructors, your children will learn balance, coordination and confidence on the snow, all while having fun in a safe environment.

- 6pm: Children's torchlight descent with Haribo
Just like the grown-ups, children are also entitled to their own torchlit descent! Equipped with an electric torch, children can make the descent in complete safety. Bonus: distribution of HARIBO sweets.

Duration: 45 minutes
Flocon level required to take part in the descent.
Price: €5 for children taking lessons at the ESF, €10 for all others.
- 6.30pm: Winter concert: Piano recital by Pascal Gallet
Join us for a unique evening in the company of international pianist Pascal Gallet. With a blend of virtuosity and emotion, he will perform masterpieces from the classical repertoire for an unforgettable musical experience.
Venue: Val Thorens church/polycultural hall

THURSDAY 2 JANUARY

- 11am to 5pm: Alaskan Games - OOK the Serum Race
Take part in a giant escape game throughout the resort to find the recipe for the Serum. To do so, you'll have to solve all the mysterious riddles left by the trapper.

- 6.00pm: Children's show - MISTER FLY CIRCUS
Mr Fly is a dance juggler with a naïve, burlesque style who communicates with a universal body language, plunging the audience into a world where nothing is quite normal. In his world, reality is always hijacked by unexpected touches of humour and fantasy. His performance skilfully blends juggling, mime, ventriloquism and the misuse of objects, all set to a playful, melodious soundtrack.

FRIDAY 3RD JANUARY

- 4pm: Children's workshop
The Tourist Office offers a range of fun manual activities for children to discover, decorate and recycle while having fun.
Location: Chalet Péclet, Place Péclet
Free registration at the Tourist Office before 5pm on Thursday. Minimum 4 children and maximum 8. Ages 3 to 10.
A parent must be present.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
