A magnificent walk with beautiful views on arrival from the Pointe du Cuchet (1679 m). With the help of two orientation tables, have fun locating the surrounding peaks (Mont-Blanc and the Vanoise peaks...).
You can park in the parking lot on the left before the Coche reservoir and follow the path marked "Mont Cuchet".
The plateau de Lachat (benches and picnic table, barbecue area) is the ideal place to take a break or have a picnic.
Then cross the plateau and follow the signs to Mont Cuchet.
The view from this vantage point is incredible, and you can use the two viewing tables to see Mont-Blanc, Grande Casse, Grand-Perron and Niélard, among others.
Petite Boucle: return down the previous trail to the Coche reservoir to complete the loop.
Start altitude: 1417 m
Arrival altitude: 1417 m
Max. altitude: 1679 m (Pointe du Cuchet)
2 other options:
At Mont Cuchet, continue along the ridge to descend (good walkers - Difficult level).

Take the same route back down as on the outward journey, then make a detour to the lookouts at Pierre de l'Aigle and Ravières, which offer magnificent views over the valley.
From 01/05 to 15/11.
