LB aka LABAT's nights are short. Not so much because they're made up of live shows and DJ sets in the world's finest venues and biggest festivals. Nor even because they are punctuated by invitations from Boiler Room or Mixmag to perform behind their decks. Rather, Baptistin is constantly working to perfect his art. He never ceases to reveal himself in ever more innovative forms: an outstanding performer, extravagant and demanding, who plays with the codes of his milieu.

DJ, producer and label owner, the Frenchman flirts with today's British and Australian scenes and breaks free of all barriers - be they genre, format or space.

Insatiable, the musician has been multiplying releases for over ten years on foreign labels and, since the creation of his own stable Poumpet Records, has been keen to produce young artists.

All with the same leitmotiv: (to) reinvent himself.
